CPDHE and MDPH have issued a public health advisory in response to an increase in COVID-19 cases and a concern for hospital bed capacity
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and the Metro Denver Partnership for Health (MDPH) has issued a public health advisory in response to an increase in COVID-19 cases and a concern for hospital bed capacity. Governor Polis stated that if this surge continues, Colorado will need to request FEMA medical surge teams, halt elective surgeries, and hospitals may need to resort to crisis standards of care. Read the advisory, which includes recommendations on vaccination, masking, gatherings, COVID-19 testing, and more.
Please note that this is an advisory, and not an order. An advisory is a precautionary measure, whereas orders require compliance by Colorado law.
