All Facility Pass Holder Benefits

These benefits apply to resident and non-resident all facility pass holders. Discounts on programs are not available for Contract Programs.
Passes are billed individually for each person in a household. To qualify for Family Rates, at least two people in the household, one of which should be an adult, must have a current All Facility Pass, either paid in full or with monthly payments.
Canceling your Pass
Pass cancellations are the responsibility of the pass holder and can be done at any time either online or in person. Passes canceled in person or online are effective immediately. No refunds are given for partial months and no other monthly payments will be billed. No cancellation fees or processing fees are charged.
- Please Note: Monthly billing occurs on the 15th of the month. Passes canceled after billing on the 15th will not be refunded.
- If you paid in full at the time of purchase for your pass, your pass will be pro-rated from the day of cancelation and you will be given credit for the remaining balance not used. This credit can be used towards other purchases or refunded. If you request a refund, you will be charged a $10 processing fee.
Punch Pass Cancellations
Punch passes expire after two years. If you would like to cancel your punch pass, you may do so online or in person. Punch passes are pro-rated and credit is given for unused punches which can be used towards other purchases or refunded. If you request a refund, you will be charged a $10 processing fee. Punch passes purchased more than two years prior do not have a monetary value and cannot be credited or refunded.

- When you chose the monthly payment plan, the first two months are due upfront and then monthly on the 15th of every month after that. Monthly payments must be paid through automatic billing with Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). The first two months payments are non-refundable. Payments are processed on the 15th of each month.
- Please note that punch passes (10 and 20-punch) cannot be used for Fitness Classes, Child Sitting, Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates or admission to The Bay.
- Punch passes (10 and 20-punch) expire two years after the date of purchase.
Drop-in Facility Use
The drop-in fee is for building entry, building use and applies to anyone entering the building for activities other than programs. This fee includes the use of the weight room, gymnasium, swimming pool, and spa. You will also be asked to pay admission fees for drop-in use of a party room or fitness studio*. Anyone who wishes to pay the discounted resident rates is required to present their resident ID card or show proof of residency. (See Verification of Residency)
*Party rooms are not available on a drop-in basis for birthday parties or other organized parties. Party rooms and fitness rooms cannot be guaranteed for use on a drop-in basis.
Lockers - Patrons are required to bring their own lock to secure clothing and valuables. Locks and property must be removed each night. You can purchase a lock for this use at the Front Desk. We check out locks at the Paul Derda Recreation Center. The City and County of Broomfield is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
Resident ID Card
Resident Recreation ID Card is needed for Resident rates. Without a Resident Recreation ID Card you will pay the non-resident rate to drop-in. ID cards can be obtained at the following locations.
- Paul Dera Rec Center
- Broomfield Community Center
Do I qualify for a Resident ID card?
The Resident Recreation ID card can be used to secure the discounted daily drop-In fee when visiting the Paul Derda Recreation Center, Broomfield Community Center or the Bay. This card is valid for two years and is free of charge. You are required to show proof of Broomfield residency to receive this card. Each time you renew your Resident ID card, Resident Punch Card or Resident Recreation Pass you will be asked to show current verification of residency.
Who Qualifies for a Resident Rate?
- Any person owning taxable real or personal property in the City and County of Broomfield and can show verification.
- Any person permanently residing within the City and County of Broomfield (but who may not necessarily own property) AND can show two forms of "verification of residency".
- Those who wish to purchase any RESIDENT card or pass, are required to show two forms of “verification of residency”. You must present:
- Your current valid Colorado driver's license or Colorado identification card with a current address; OR
- A photo ID AND two of the following documents showing correct name, current date and current Broomfield address:
- Utility bill (phone or water bill)
- Car registration
- Voter registration card
- Statement from major creditor
- Recent Broomfield County Tax notice
- Rental contract/mortgage statement.
- If you work in Broomfield, you are eligible to receive the Resident Rate by showing proof of employment at a Broomfield business. Please note this resident status is for the employee only and entitles the employee to receive resident rates for admissions, passes, punch cards and recreation programs but it is not applicable toward facility rentals. Other family members do not qualify for resident rates/status. The following proof of employment must be presented to receive resident rates:
- A Photo ID and one of the following:
- Recent Pay stub showing name and address of company; or
- Letter from employer on business letterhead (business cards are not accepted)

Reduced Rate Program
The City and County of Broomfield (CCOB) Parks, Recreation and Senior Services believes in the value of our recreation programs, activities and services and offers a reduced rate program for Broomfield Residents who may need financial assistance to participate. Eligibility for the Reduced Rate Program is based on Financial need. Qualification is determined based on enrollment in other financial assistance programs to include TANF(Colorado Works),WIC, SNAP, LEAP, and Medicaid. To be considered for the Reduced Rate Program, a completed application and current benefit approval letters (“Notice of Action”) for each family member showing enrollment in at least one of those programs must be submitted.
