Parties, Groups and Rentals
Thank you for your interest in reserving a Broomfield Recreation Facility. We have many options to suit your occasion!
For more information on Reservations at our facilities, please select one of the tabs below or go directly to B-REx. If you have questions or need assistance, please call the Reservation Line at 303-464-5509. Inquiries will be answered as soon as possible, usually within 72 hours.
Residency
Verification of residency is required to receive resident rates for reservations. Residency status is valid for two years and may be obtained in person at Broomfield Community Center or Paul Derda Rec Center.
How Do I Prove My Residency?
Those who wish to purchase any RESIDENT card or pass are required to show a photo ID and two of the following documents with a correct name, current date and current Broomfield address to verify residency to a Recreation Services employee at the Paul Derda Rec Center or the Broomfield Community Center.
- Utility Bill (phone or water)
- Car Registration
- Voter Registration Card
- Statement From Major Creditor
- Recent Broomfield County Tax Notice
- Rental Contract/ Mortgage Statement
The Bay Aquatic Park
Join us this summer at Broomfield's outdoor water park, designed for families and children ages 1-13 years. The Bay features two exciting body slides, an inner tube slide, leisure pool with zero–depth entry, and an interactive water play structure. There is also a newly remodeled tot pool with slides, spray ground, restrooms, and large grass and picnic and rental areas. Meet your friends and neighbors for a picnic on the lawn or enjoy a snack from the concession stand. Enjoy time with your family all summer long with fun in the sun.
Party Reservations
To reserve a party at The Bay, please submit a request through B-REx.com. Requests are reserved in the order they are received. We will be accepting reservations for the summer, beginning May 1.
Group Reservation
To reserve your group, summer camp, or organization at the Bay, please submit a request through B-REx.com. We will be accepting reservations for the summer, beginning March 1.
After Hours Parties
Join us at The Broomfield Bay for a private After Hours Party! Your family, school or organization will enjoy private access to our pools, aquatic features and park, without the hassle of everyday crowds. To make an After Hours Party reservation, please submit a request through B-REx.com.

Rooms at the Broomfield Community Center
The Broomfield Community Center (BCC) is an excellent choice for your next event, no matter how large or small. This community-centered building offers casual multi-purpose rooms, formal meeting rooms, and elaborate banquet rooms all under one roof. With ample parking and beautiful views, the BCC is the best spot in Broomfield for your event.
All room reservations at the BCC include tables and chairs, as well as WiFi access. Additional amenities are available for some rooms, such as Lakeshore. For more information on BCC rooms, click here.
All room reservations for the Broomfield Community Center are processed through B-REx.com. (Click on Facilities and select the type of space under Reserve.)
Parties at the Paul Derda Recreation Center
Celebrate at the Paul Derda Recreation Center and take advantage of our party package which includes the use of our Ponderosa party room, located directly off of the pool area and conveniently equipped with refrigerators, sinks, and microwaves. All party packages include a party room 2 hours and use of the pool. Click here for more PDRC Birthday Party information.

Requests are processed in the order they are received and booked based on availability. Reservation is not final until you have received confirmation from Broomfield Recreation Services.
Permits are contingent upon no changes in current Covid numbers or in Public Health Guidelines. CCOB reserves the right to withdraw the permit at any time.
Amenities
- Indoor Aquatic Park with inner tube and body slides, waterfalls, and interactive play structure.
- Indoor Playground (for kids 7 and younger) where kids feel like they’re in a friendly forest.
Basic Party Packages
Broomfield County residents who wish to book a birthday party must have a current Resident ID Card. Please see Passes and Fees for a description on how to obtain one.
All Facility Rec Pass holders get a 10% discount on their Basic Party Package Rental.* The rental includes all guests - adults and children.

Groups
PDRC Group Reservations will be taken on a case by case basis depending on pool/lifeguard availability. If you would like to make a request to bring your group to PDRC, Visit b-rex.com to submit your request.

Paul Derda Recreation Center Food Policy
Please do not bring full meals to the recreation center unless you have a room reservation. Cake, ice cream, cupcakes, pizza, party subs and any other similar foods are only permitted with a room rental. Glass containers are not allowed in the facility. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are welcome. Coolers will be checked.
Parks and Park Shelters
Broomfield has over 281 miles of trails, more than 700 acres of developed parks and 45 playgrounds. This is 16 acres of available outdoor active living for every 1,000 citizens. If you like to take your dog to the park, please read our leash law policy.

Reservation requests for the upcoming year can be made beginning at 8am on January 2nd. Broomfield County Commons and West Interlocken Park Shelters are available for requests after March 1st with limited availability.

Questions may be directed to the Broomfield Reservation Line 303.464.5509. **If you wish to have alcohol at your event, make sure to submit your application during the check-out process with the Park Reservation Request**. Requests are processed in the order they are received and booked based on availability. Reservation is not final until you have received confirmation from Broomfield Recreation Services.
Reservations are not transferable between facilities/shelters. A facility/shelter change, date change, or change in contract holder will result in a cancellation and rebooking of reservation following the cancellation policy outlined below. All other changes requiring a new permit for a reservation, i.e. adding/reducing hours or adding an alcohol permit, will incur a $15 Administrative fee. Additional fees may apply.
Cancellations made two weeks or more prior to the event will forfeit 50% of the total reservation fee. Cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the event will forfeit 100% of the total reservation fee.
Athletic Field Rentals
At this time, fields are allocated according to current Covid numbers and guidelines from State and County Public Health. We cannot guarantee specific field availability or dates. The City and County of Broomfield reserves the right to withdraw a permit at any time.

- Approved permits available beginning: May 22, 2023

Tennis Courts
Broomfield has fourteen tennis courts for the public to use. Fees are $6 per hour, per court for Broomfield residents and $20 per hour, per court for non-residents.
Tennis Reservations can be made online at select courts at B-Rex.com. Please call the facility reservation line if you have questions about your reservation at 303-464-5509. Reservations for the year can be requested beginning March 1 of the current year. A 24-hour notice is required.
Brandywine Park, Wildgrass Park, Northmoor Park, and Zang Spur Park tennis courts are available on a first-come, first-serve basis 7 am - 9 am.
The following tennis court locations are available for online reservations:
- Brandywine Park, (2) courts, 9 am - 8 pm, Monday through Friday
- Wildgrass Park (2) courts, 9 am - 8 pm, Monday through Friday
- Northmoor Park, (2) courts, 9 am - 4 pm, Monday through Friday
- Zang Spur Park, (2) courts, 9 am - 4 pm, Monday through Friday
Community Park, (4) courts, is NOT available for online reservations
- Tennis courts will be a first-come, first-serve basis unless otherwise noted.
- Community Park tennis courts are available for public usage currently, at the following schedule:
Monday, June 8 - Friday, June 12: 7 am - 10 pm
Monday, June 15 - Thursday, August 13: 1 pm - 10 pm
Saturdays and Sunday, June 14 - August 16: 6 am - 10 pm
