Join us this year at our newly renovated The Bay Aquatic Park! Come and check out the new main pool and slides! The Bay is perfect for families and friends to enjoy together! The Bay features two new and improved body slides, a new leisure pool with race slides, waterfall, interactive play structure, zero depth entry, lap lanes and space for the entire family to enjoy. There is also a separate toddler pool with slides and a sprayground. All guests have access to locker rooms, concessions, and picnic areas. Meet your friends, family, and neighbors for an amazing day of fun!

The Bay Aquatic Park Pool Schedule 2026 - Coming Soon!
The Bay will open for the summer beginning on Saturday, May 23 - Monday, September 7, 2026
Sessions Offered Per Day
- There will be one, two, or three sessions per day for which you can reserve tickets, depending on the day:
- Please note: The Bay will close between sessions, and everyone will be asked to exit the park.
- Guests may reserve tickets online up to a week in advance.
- Guests will be allowed to book a maximum of one session per day.
Post-Summer Sessions and Pool Schedule
Beginning Sunday, August 9, The Bay will have a post-summer session schedule due to students returning to school. Session times and availability will be limited for the remainder of the summer. Reservations are required for entry.
Broomfield Resident Discount
- Do you have a current Broomfield Resident ID?
- Broomfield Residents can receive a discounted rate by having a current Broomfield Resident ID card in their B-Rex account.
- Resident ID cards can be obtained at The Broomfield Community Center or The Paul Derda Recreation Center and are valid for two years.

Resident Fees for Reserved Ticket
- 3 years and younger, free with a paying adult, 18 years or older
- 4 years and older, $5
Non-Resident Fees for Reserved Ticket
- 3 years and younger, free with a paying adult, 18 years or older
- 4 years and older, $9
All Facility Recreation Pass
The All Facility Pass and Summer All Facility Pass are available to both residents and non-residents and include entry to PDRC, BCC and The Bay. Verification of residency must be presented at the time of purchase. Please see Passes and Fees for additional information about passes and rates.
Admittance Policies:
- Everyone is required to have a ticket reservation through B-REx.com to enter The Bay.
- You must have a current Broomfield Resident ID Card to receive Broomfield Resident rates.
- Bay admission fees are included with the All Facility Pass that also includes the Paul Derda Recreation Center and Broomfield Community Center. Reservations are available at no charge with the All Facility Pass. Take advantage of a Summer Pass valid for unlimited admission to all facilities for a one time fee and valid opening day through Labor Day. Passes can be purchased online at B-REx.com.
- Pool rules and policies are listed on signs around the pool and facility for your safety and convenience. Please read them prior to entering the pool.
- Parents are directly responsible for the safety of their children and must be in the pool, directly supervising them at all times.
- Glass containers, smoking, tobacco products, alcohol, illegal drugs, and open carry of firearms are prohibited. All bags and coolers will be checked prior to entering the facility.
Capacity at the Bay:
Safety is of the utmost importance in the pool! Capacity limits on the pool will be based upon health department regulations and guest safety!
Other factors affecting capacity:
- Staffing levels
- Age and number of guests in the pool
- Birthday parties or groups scheduled in the pool
- Weather or other unforeseen circumstances
Supervision and Regulations
Parent Supervision and age requirements! Children are NOT drown proof! Help protect your child this summer!
- All children 6 and younger and non-swimmers regardless of age, must be accompanied in the pool by a paying adult. The adult must be in the pool with the child or non-swimmer at all times and stay within arms reach. Direct parent supervision is required at all times.
- Children 7–11 years old who know how to swim independently, must have a parent or adult present in the pool area with them.
- Children who need or are wearing a floatation device must have an adult in the water and directly supervise them in the pool. Floatation devices are NOT a substitute for adult supervision.
Health & Safety Regulations
- All children six and younger and non-swimmers regardless of age, must be accompanied in the pool by a paying adult. The adult must be in the pool with the child or non-swimmer at all times and stay within arms reach. Direct parent supervision is required at all times.
- Children 7–11 years old who know how to swim independently, must have a parent or adult present in the pool area with them.
- Children who need or are wearing a floatation device must have an adult in the water and directly supervise them in the pool. Floatation devices are NOT a substitute for adult supervision.
- Kids 3 and younger MUST wear a swim diaper.
- Pool rules and policies are listed on signs around the pool and facility for your safety and convenience. Please read them prior to entering the pool.
- Glass containers, smoking, tobacco products, alcohol, illegal drugs and open carry of firearms are prohibited. All bags and coolers will be checked prior to entering the facility.
- Visit the bathroom before you get in the pool.
- Take a full head and body shower before entering the pool.
- Take breaks to hydrate and go to the bathroom.
- Prolonged breath holding or hypoxic training is NOT allowed.
- Do not enter the pool if you show any signs of illness or diarrhea within the past two weeks.
Weather Alerts and Closures
Inclement Weather
- The Bay will not open if the outside temperature is predicted to be below 66 degrees throughout the entire day.
- Safety is our top priority! The Bay must be cleared any time lightning or severe weather is in the immediate area. The facility will be reopened 30 minutes after the last sight of lightning if sufficient time remains in the session.
- For closures due to inclement weather, patrons will be stamped with the date and allowed re-entry into The Bay on the same day, during the session time, should it re-open.
- Refunds will not be given due to inclement weather.
- No refunds regardless of time of arrival.
- Rain Checks will not be given due to inclement weather, regardless of time of arrival.
- Please consider the weather before making your reservation. You may cancel your reservation two hours prior to your session reservation to receive a credit on your account that may be used for another reservation date at The Bay.
Pool Closures
Safety is our top priority!
The Bay must be cleared any time there is a fecal accident, emergency or maintenance issue in the pool. The facility will be reopened 30 minutes after the incident has been dealt with if sufficient time remains in the session time.
For pool closures, patrons will be stamped with the date and allowed free re-entry into the facility on the same day and session time, should it re-open.
Refunds will NOT be given due to fecal accidents, emergency situations or maintenance issues in the pool.

Party Reservations
Party Reservations
Celebrate your party at The Bay! Reservations will be available to book on May 1, 2026. Please submit a request through B-REx.com. Click on Reserve-The Bay-Private Party, then filter your search by your desired date. Requests are reserved in the order they are received. Group Reservation
Group reservation requests will be accepted starting March 1. Please submit a request through B-REx.com.
After Hours Parties
Looking for a more private experience? After-hours party reservations are available for larger groups and allow exclusive use of the park after regular hours. After -hours parties are offered on a limited basis, Friday through Sunday. To make a reservation, please visit B-REx.com, click on Reserve, The Bay, Private Party and then filter by your desired date. After Hours party reservations will be available to book on March 1, 2026.

Water Aerobics Classes
Water Aerobics classes are offered at the Bay! A great way to start or end your day with fitness, fun and friends all summer long!
Classes will be held at the Bay beginning mid July, pending reopening of the Bay Aquatic Park.
- Monday–Friday: 8:30–9:30 a.m.
- Saturday: 8:30-9:30 a.m.
You must pay The Bay daily fee or use your All Facility Pass for Bay water aerobics classes. Punch cards will not be accepted at The Bay.
