GolfMen and women meet on Tuesday mornings for a round of golf at Greenway Park Golf Course (110 Greenway Drive). Each week players will be assigned a partner and participate in various fun golf games. In addition to the league registration fee, golfers will pay the green fees to the course. A Note to Parents Concerning Registration
Youth sports programs will take registrations until the program is full. This may happen before the price change. If your child is interested in playing or you are interested in your child playing please register early.
We rely on volunteers to coach the youth sports programs. We will train you on the basics of coaching and teach you the basic skills the children should be taught. All it takes is a willingness and interest in helping children. For information on all youth sports, email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Teams will practice twice a week during the week and play games against other CARA teams on Saturdays. Team Jerseys are provided. Approved lacrosse helmet, stick, arms pads, shoulder pads, gloves and mouth guard must be worn for the league. Teams will travel for some games against other CARA teams. Recreational Volleyball is offered twice a year in the Spring and in the Fall. In the Spring we offer programs for grades 2nd-4th, 5th-6th and 7th-8th. For the 2nd-4th grade it is a 30 minute practice followed by a 30 minute scrimmage. For the 5th-8th grade divisions there is a 1 hour practice either on Monday or Tuesday and an hour game on Thursdays. In the Fall we offer programs for 2nd-4th and 4th-6th. C.A.R.A Tennis & Tennis Lessons
Tennis Lessons and Team CARA Tennis are offered during the Summer Only. Lessons are offered for age divisions 5-6, 7-10, 11-12 and 13-15. Lessons are offered in the morning at Community Park Tennis Court (55 Community Park Road) and lessons are offered in the evening at Legacy High School (2701 West 136th Avenue). Team CARA Tennis is offered in the morning at Community Park Tennis Courts for age divisions 7-10, 11-14 and 15-18. Matches are on Fridays against other agencies in the North Denver Metro Area. This recreational program combines learning fundamentals, practice and games. Practices are once or twice a week with games played one or two nights a week. Little Sluggers & Tball
Little Sluggers is a 6-week program for boys and girls that are 4 years old. Participant must be 4 years old before the start of the program. Girls Tball is a 7-week program for girls 5-7 years. Participant must be 5 years old before the start of the program. C.A.R.A Track & Cross Country
C.A.R.A Track has two sessions during the summer a morning and an evening. The morning session meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8a to 10a. The evening session meets Tuesday and Thursdays from 6p to 8p. Both sessions are for ages 5 to 15 years old. Participants are able to compete in C.A.R.A. track meets on Saturday mornings. Cross Country is a fall program for ages 7-14.Participants are encouraged to be able to jog/run a minimum of 10 minutes continuously prior to the first practice. The Little Dribblers Program (Kindergarten-2nd Grade) meet on Saturdays for a 30 minute practice followed by a 30 minute scrimmage for 6 weeks. The Youth Basketball Program (3rd-8th Grade) have an 8-game season with one or two practices a week and games played on Saturdays. Participants sign up individually and are then placed on teams following a mini camp. Mini camp dates will be available at the time of registration. What is Gold Crown Volleyball or Gold Crown Basketball?
The Gold Crown program (volleyball and/or basketball) is intended to help in the development of athletes who desire to play for their High School Volleyball and/or Basketball program.
Gold Crown teams consist of grades 6th to 8th that will compete in either the Silver or Gold level of play (level is determined by the coaching staff for each individual program). Although the program is for 6th to 8th grades, younger players are eligible to tryout/play but must play up to at least the 6th grade level so if your player is younger but has the ability to play he/she is more than welcome to tryout!
Here's the Broomfield area Gold Crown info:
- Tryouts are mandatory.
- It is a tryout. Not all athletes trying out will make a team.
- Players do not get to select a team to play on. Requests are not accepted.
- If you are selected to play on a team your coach will tell you the costs.
- The player fees will vary depending on the team.
- Practices will start late August/early September (for volleyball) and November for basketball. Each team will typically have 2 practices per week. Days and times are determined at a later date and may not be known until after tryouts.
- Volleyball games will typically be played at the Gold Crown Field House (Alameda and Harland) and typically are played on Sundays.
- Basketball typically plays at various sites in the metro area and typically played on Sundays.
- Volleyball season runs from August thru November. Basketball season usually runs November through February.
