GIS at The City and County of Broomfield

Many of the city and county's services rely on accurate and up-to-date land information.

Efficient access to information such as addresses, buildings, roads, utilities, elevations, floodplains, response districts, council wards and precincts, zoning, land use, public health, open space, assessor tax parcels, and many other types and combinations of land information is critical for various functions of government and the public as well.

The GIS Division is comprised of professionally trained GIS personnel that assist City and County of Broomfield departments in the collection, storage and maintenance of these integral datasets and provide mapping and analysis support in the form of verbal, hard copy and digital land-based information to the general public, city and county staff and other government entities.
