A precinct is a division of a city or town used for voting purposes. The current precinct boundaries were approved by Broomfield City Council with Resolution No. 2021-91 which became effective June 1, 2021. The complete precinct number tells you the precinct's Congressional district, its State Senate and House district numbers, the county and the ward / precinct number.
Example precinct number = 7253364101 (listed as 101):
- 7 = Congressional district
- 25 = State senate district
- 33 = State house district
- 64 = County code
- 101 = Ward / Precinct number
