Service Reopening

Thanks to your patience and perseverance to protect our community, public health officials support a slow and guided access to increased City and County of Broomfield services, starting June 1. 

Please email community-development@broomfield.org with general questions.  Emails and voicemail are being monitored daily.  Upon our reopen, If you plan on using our in person services, please review our Customer Guidelines prior to your visit.  

About Community Development

The Department of Community Development provides one-stop services for all planning, transportation, traffic, engineering and building activity within the City and County of Broomfield.

Services provided include enforcement of building codes, issuing of building permits, zoning regulation, and construction standards.

The department is also responsible for current, and long-range planning, and administration of Broomfield’s capital improvement program (CIP).

Community Development will improve quality of life and make Broomfield a better place to live, work, play, and stay by fulfilling the community’s vision. 

Fees

Payments may be made in person with cash, check, or credit card.
 

Effective April 1, 2019 -
There will be a 2.99% per transaction fee assessed if you choose the credit card option.

 Effective May 1, 2018 -
 A $27.00 fee will be assessed for any check returned for insufficient funds
