Public Works and Water Utilities Academy

Thank you to everyone who participated in the City and County of Broomfield Public Works and Water Utilities Academy this May through July! This engaging and educational experience gave Broomfield residents a behind-the-scenes look at the essential services that keep Broomfield running smoothly every day.

From turning on the tap to driving on well-maintained roads and seeing stormwater systems in action, participants learned how these everyday conveniences are powered by the hard work and dedication of Broomfield’s Public Works and Water Utilities teams. Through informative learning sessions, facility tours and live demonstrations, attendees gained a deeper understanding of the city and county's infrastructure and operations.

The academy also provided a valuable opportunity for residents to ask questions, share feedback and build stronger connections with the teams that serve Broomfield. These sessions support the city and county’s commitment to transparency, education and community partnership.
