Filing an Appeal for 2025
Appeals must be submitted between May 1 and June 8 for real property and by June 30 for personal property.
If the date for filing any report, schedule, claim, tax return, statement, remittance,or other document falls upon a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, it shall be deemed to have been timely filed on the next business day. § 39-1-120(3), C.R.S.
Gather Supporting Documentation
To support your appeal, consider submitting:
- A property appraisal from 7/1/2022 to 6/30/2024
- Photos showing the condition of the property
- Comparable sales of similar properties
- Documentation of errors in the property record
