Mission and Responsibilities
The Planning Division reviews development applications for compliance with Broomfield’s development standards. The intent of these reviews is to maintain and improve our citizens’ quality of life, protect the environment, and plan for the future needs of the community. Work is accomplished by highly trained employees in a professional and respectful manner.
The Planning Division includes Land Use and Master Planning, Development Review, Zoning and Subdivision Code Review, and Preparation of Population and Employment Estimates and Forecasts.

Neighborhood Group Registration
This registry is primarily intended for others, besides the property owners, and may include renters, businesses, homeowner associations and others who may not receive the typical required mailing notice regarding upcoming meetings and public hearings related to development applications.
