How can parents help kids stay safe?

  • Get vaccinated; adults and youth 16 and over should get vaccinated as soon as possible. There is a low risk of passing COVID-19 to unvaccinated youth from a fully vaccinated person.
  • Continue to wear masks when indoors with non-household members or outside and unable to maintain 6 feet of distance.
  • Follow the 4W’s as recommended during extra curricular activities, including getting to and from events and holding team celebrations outdoors if possible.
  • Stay home and get tested if you or your children are displaying symptoms of COVID-19.

Find a vaccination site, learn more about prevention techniques and see COVID-19 data at Broomfield.org/COVID.
