[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 vaccine update

As of Tuesday, Feb. 23 more than 18,000 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to Broomfield residents.

As of Tuesday, Feb. 23 more than 18,000 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to Broomfield residents.

Nearly 80% of Broomfield residents 70+ have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, including more than 46% who have received both and are fully vaccinated. Gov. Polis set a goal of vaccinating 70% of the state’s 70+ by Feb. 28 with at least one dose. As of Feb. 18, Colorado was 86% toward reaching that goal, which puts the state on track to reach that goal.

Once the state reaches 70% of 70+ residents being vaccinated, Broomfield businesses that are Back to Business Certified will be able to operate at “Level Blue: Cautious.”
