The Broomfield City Council is accepting applications to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Ward 1 City Councilmember Kenny Nguyen upon his appointment as State Representative District 33 on Jan. 13. City council requests that the process for interested parties is to fill out an application and be available to participate in a candidate forum on Feb. 18. The appointment of the new councilmember will be made at the Feb. 24 city council meeting. The deadline to submit an application is Feb. 4.
