[ARCHIVED] Read the Quarterly Retail Food Newsletter!

Welcome to the Retail Food quarterly newsletter from Broomfield Public Health and Environment! The purpose of this newsletter is to keep retail food establishments up-to-date on upcoming events, important updates, and other helpful information.

Renew your Food License by Dec. 31

All retail food establishments must pay their invoice to renew their license by Dec. 31, 2025. Failure to renew your license on time could result in penalties and/or closure of your food establishment. Follow the below steps to renew:

  1. Update your contact information, if necessary, using the online form.
  2. Pay license renewal fee online at myhealthdepartment.com/Broomfield.
    • Step 1: If you have not already done so, create a My Health Department account (read instructions).
    • Step 2: Once logged in, you will see seven blue boxes. Click "Pay an Invoice".
    • Step 3: In the blank box, type in the invoice ID included in the letter mailed to you. The invoice ID follows the naming convention "BROOHS-INVXXXX".

Please note all operators must utilize this online system and must pay by credit card or e-check. If you do not have access to the internet, you may come into the Health and Human Service building at 100 Spader Way and use one of the computers in the Workforce Center. If you have additional questions, please email publichealth@broomfield.org or call 720-887-2220.

Both of these steps must be completed by visiting Broomfield.org/FoodLicense.

Please note: Invoices were  mailed on Nov. 7, 2025. If you have not yet received your invoice, please contact the department by phone or email to update your mailing address and obtain your license renewal.
