A Building Plans Analyst is available Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to Noon and Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m. for homeowners who need assistance with building permits. Some permits for homeowners may be available for same-day review and issuance.

Current Plan Review times
- Like-for-like residential A/C, water heater and furnace replacement - 1 to 3 business days
- Re-Roofing - 1 week
- Water heater, furnace & A/C installation and replacement - 1 to 2 weeks
- Window & Door - 1 to 2 weeks
- Solar PV System - 1 to 2 weeks
- Basement Finish & Remodel - 1 to 2 weeks
- Exterior Residential (decks, covered patios, pergolas, gazebo, etc.) - 2 to 3 weeks
- Sign - 3 to 4 weeks
- Residential Addition - 4 to 5 weeks
- Tenant Finish - 5 to 6 weeks
- New Commercial Building – 6 to 7 weeks
- New House - 7 to 8 weeks
- Residential EV Charging System - 1 to 2 weeks
- Commercial EV Charging System - 2 to 4 weeks
