Construction is up all over the metropolitan area so building departments are busy! Please schedule enough time for a plan review to keep your project on track. Typical plan review times are as follows:
Water heaters, furnaces, and shingle re-roofs (between 4:12 & 6:12 pitch), permits are typically processed over the counter - (On Hold "Due to the Coronavirus situation")
Over the counter plan reviews - (On Hold "Due to the Coronavirus situation) - (Basement Finish, Small Remodels, Decks, Pergola's, Patio Covers and any other permit that requires a plan reviewer) will only be available between 9 am to 1 pm Monday - Friday - If you are bringing in any plan review documents outside of this time frame or if you are bringing in a big project please be prepared to drop your plans off for review and we will call or email you once they are complete.

New house – custom or new model - 7 to 8 weeks for first comments
New house – master plan - 7 to 8 weeks for first comments
New house w/approved master plan - 7 to 8 weeks
New commercial – 7 to 8 weeks for first comments
Tenant finish - 7 to 8 weeks for first comments
Residential additions – 4 to 5 weeks for first comments (On Hold "due to the Coronavirus situation")
Solar PV Systems - 4 to 5 weeks
Signs - 4 to 5 weeks
Windows - 2 weeks (On Hold "due to the Coronavirus situation")
