Community Resource Cabinet
Broomfield Library's Community Resource Cabinet contains personal hygiene items, food, and protective clothing that patrons can take for free.* It is located along the northeast wall on the second floor behind the nonfiction stacks. Discovery Church and individual donors provide most of the supplies in the Community Resource Cabinet - thank you!
If you would like to make a donation to the library's Community Resource Cabinet, please ask for assistance at the reference desk.
*Please note that supplies are limited. Some items cannot be replenished until the next donation.
SWAP (Severe Weather Activation Program)
The Severe Weather Activation Program (SWAP) is a partnership between Brighton-based nonprofit Almost Home, Inc. and Broomfield and Adams counties that activates during inclement weather and provides life-saving measures for people experiencing unsheltered homelessness. SWAP will assess households and administer hotel vouchers directly to enrolled households when the weather poses a threat to the well-being and lives of people sleeping or living outdoors.
