Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee (OSTAC)

The Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee (OSTAC) was established to advise the city council on amendments to the open space element of the master plan. OSTAC is charged with the responsibility of making recommendations to the city council regarding the following:

• The acquisition of open space parcels
• The location, type, and timing of trail segments and crossings
• A long-range plan for open space use and management
• Guiding Open Space and Trails Plans and Policies
  • Open Space, Parks, Recreation and Trails Master Plan
  • Prairie Dog Conservation and Management Policy
  • Coexistence with Wildlife Policy
  • Site-Specific Open Space Plans
