Purpose
The purpose of the Personnel Merit Commission, as provided by the City Charter, is to have final jurisdiction and authority to hear and determine appeals by any aggrieved employee who has been subject to disciplinary action of any kind.
Meetings
An annual meeting will be held in April, typically in the late afternoon, to welcome new members and select a chairperson. Other meetings shall be called by the chairman as often as needed to conduct official business, as identified in
Chapter 2-12 of the Broomfield Municipal Code.
Notice of Hearing on the appeal of termination filed with the Personnel Merit Commission by Amy Wells. The hearing on this appeal is scheduled for Friday, June 3, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. at the Broomfield Human Services Building, Heritage room located on the first floor of 100 Spader Way.
