Customer Code of Conduct for the City and County of Broomfield Clerk and Recorder’s Office
The Broomfield Clerk and Recorder’s Office is a considerate, safe and respectful environment. To make this building a welcoming place for everyone, abide by the following expected behaviors when you visit.
Be Kind to Other People
Talk at a conversational volume.
Respect the privacy of others in the building.
Disruptive or demeaning conduct or language, including sexual harassment or racist language, toward staff, customers or others will not be tolerated.
Proper attire (e.g., shoes, pants, shirts) is required.
If you are disruptive or abusive to others, you will be asked to leave the building.
Be Safe
Possessing or using alcohol or drugs in the building or entering the building while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Carry skateboards and scooters and lock bikes up outside.
Keep personal items with you at all times.
All pets must be on a leash.
Open carry of weapons is not allowed.
If you are unable to act safely, you will be asked to leave the building.
Respect Broomfield Materials, Equipment and Facility
Beverages in covered and secure containers are allowed in the building.
Do not write on, vandalize, abuse or otherwise damage any property.
Engaging in any illegal activity as defined by any applicable federal, state or local law, including the Broomfield Municipal Code, is prohibited.
If you are unable to respect the materials, equipment, and facility, you will be asked to leave the building.
