Broomfield businesses can apply for two business support programs, the Enhance Broomfield Program and the Entrepreneur Microgrant Program. The two programs share a goal for providing direct business support, but do have varied eligibility and specific industry targets.

Business Grant Opportunities

Enhance Broomfield Forgivable Loan Program

The Enhance Broomfield program provides grant funding to Broomfield businesses who want to expand capacity of existing operations, facilitate the creation of jobs and invest in the long-term sustainability and vitality of their business. Entrepreneur Microgrant Program

The intent of the Entrepreneur Microgrant program is to assist new and existing startup businesses with activities that will benefit the business environment of Broomfield by expanding capacity of their existing operations, increasing economic activity and revenue generation, and encouraging businesses to invest in new ideas and innovations. Qualifications and Requirements

  • Enhance Broomfield Forgivable Loan Program: Applicant must own or lease commercial space in Broomfield or be in the process of moving into commercial space and must have less than 50 employees.
  • Entrepreneur Microgrant Program: Owner must be low to moderate Income as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and must have less than five employees.

  • Entrepreneur Microgrant Program: Application available through a Google Form via our web page. 

Timeframe for Grant Opportunity

  • Enhance Broomfield Forgivable Loan Program: Application will reopen early 2026, with review and awards presented in April and May.
  • Entrepreneur Microgrant Program: Rolling application period that opens October 27, 2025 until funds are exhausted. Applications will be reviewed as they are submitted.
