For those who would like additional assistance, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program may be the best fit. Work with a Workforce Specialist to complete personalized career exploration and develop a customized plan to obtain employment. Together, you and your assigned Specialist will work to reach your employment goal. Some eligibility requirements must be met, and an application to the program is required. ConnectingColorado registrants have access to hundreds of virtual workshops and events regarding many topics including job search assistance, resume support, interview preparation, and career exploration to name a few. Register today.
How to Access and Attend a Workshop:
- Log in to your ConnectingColorado account.
- Click on the "Workshops" tab in the blue bar.
- Select "Register for Workshops" and follow the instructions.
- One hour before the event, the active link will appear in the same section.
- Click the link to join the event. Your account will be updated to indicate that you attended the workshop. This means the workshop may be counted as a work search activity for an unemployment claim.
