Let the Workforce team assist you in getting the job you want at a good wage. First, please register to look for work on ConnectingColorado.gov This is a statewide database of job openings that will help us help you look for work!  It will also notify you of job opportunities that fit your skills and qualifications and notify you of upcoming job fairs and workshops.

The Workforce Specialists welcome the opportunity to assist job seekers in resume, interview, career readiness, and general job search activities. Appointments are available in-person, virtual, or over the phone.  

Our Business Services staff is here to consult with businesses to identify qualified employers that offer good jobs. Additionally, the Business Services team hosts career readiness workshops and in-person Career and Networking events throughout the month. Are you filing for Unemployment? Follow these steps: 

FILE

You can file for unemployment benefits through the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment website or by calling 303-318-9000.  The Colorado Department of Labor & Employment (CDLE) will provide assistance for its Unemployment Insurance services. Click "Unemployment Questions" below for more information.  To check the status of your claim, access your MyUI+ account and view the status bar. For additional information about your claim, you may call 303-318-9000 or click on the "Make An Appointment" button below to schedule a time to use the dedicated phone line at the Workforce Center. 

REGISTER

Once you have created your MyUI+ account, you will need to be currently registered with the Workforce Center.   Click the New Connecting Colorado Information link below to get started. If you are having difficulties with your Connecting Colorado account, stop by, or call the Workforce Center at 303-464-5855, and a Workforce Specialist will assist you. If your call cannot be answered, please leave a message and a team member will return your call within one business day.

This is where we come in! Make an appointment with a Workforce Specialist. By creating or updating your Connecting Colorado account,  you will be registering with your local workforce Center, which allows you to view job openings and post your resume, as well as access all services provided by any Workforce center. Our job here at the Broomfield Workforce Center, is to assist you with resumes, job searching or career paths!
