Colorado Symphony's Mini Musica presents "The Tale of Peter Rabbit"

The beloved children’s story, “The Tale of Peter Rabbit,” comes to life in the form of “Mini Música” – an interactive, bilingual educational concert for young audiences. Featuring a 16-piece orchestra and a narrator who dances and sings in English and Spanish, Mini Música is designed to engage young children through a musical telling of a classic children’s story.

New Resource for Teachers! Broomfield Out Loud Middle School Curriculum and Education Resources

Designed specifically for middle school teachers to use in their classrooms, the Broomfield Out Loud curriculum supports your students in exploring identity, human migration and vexillology (the study of flags) through interactive activities and in-depth content. All content ties to Colorado State and National Social Studies Standards.

Grants

The Library, Arts, History and CSU Extension (LAHE) Department envisions a thriving and connected community where all belong. As collaborators, LAHE’s mission is to create welcoming spaces for opportunity, growth, trust and connection.

The Arts & History division of LAHE collaborates with the community to cultivate opportunities to connect, create and thrive. Key components of this are:

  • Supporting the creative economy
  • Providing arts, humanities and sciences experiences to the community 
  • Supporting access to cultural opportunities for students and educators

There are two grants teachers can apply for:

These programs are offered year-round and free for teachers and schools.
