The City and County of Broomfield is offering a one-time grant of up to $7,500 to eligible Broomfield businesses to help you adapt to the new normal brought about by COVID-19. Businesses must be located within the City and County of Broomfield and must have no less than 2 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees, of which one must be non-related person, and no more than 25 employees.
City Council approved additional funding for this business support program will prioritize community-orientated restaurants and neighborhood-serving retail shops. Applications are being accepted and should include a detailed explanation on how you are evolving your business to meet your customer’s desire for safe spaces and how the funds will be used. Examples, purchasing/renting additional seating/tables in temporary expanded space, financial support for new business improvements (expanded patio or interior space of seating), or other related business costs).
Businesses must reach employment levels of at least 50% of the February 2020 employment within 60-days of the business grant award.
The program is intended to promote business success, resulting in employee retention, business and tax revenues, and sustaining business activity. Limited funds are available.
