The City and County of Broomfield has transitioned to a new agenda management system, aimed at improving both internal processes and the end-user experience. The platform is designed to enhance staff’s ability to serve city council and the community by fostering improved workflows, responsiveness, flexibility and efficiency.
This new system brings many benefits and enhancements. When attending meetings in-person, informative screens will be displayed, including the agenda item being discussed, the motions and votes of council and a speaker’s countdown timer. For those watching online, the live council meeting will have an agenda in the same window, and when viewing a recorded meeting, timestamps will help you jump to a specific agenda item in the video.
A new City Council Meetings web page has been created to provide all information on watching and participating in council meetings, as well as access to agendas, minutes, past videos and documentation. Navigating new systems can be challenging. If you have questions on using the new system, check out the New Agenda Management System User Guide for some simple tips on the new system, which is also included on the City Council Meetings page.
