[ARCHIVED] City and County of Broomfield Achieves Milestones in 2023 - Year in Review

The City and County of Broomfield (CCOB) 2023 Year in Review highlights progress made over the past year indicative of CCOB’s commitment to improvement and community well-being, and provides insight into how taxpayer dollars are used to fund programs and services.

"2023 has been a year of remarkable accomplishments for Broomfield,” Mayor Guyleen Castriotta remarked. “Our dedication to financial sustainability, vibrant development and environmental stewardship has set a strong foundation for a thriving future. We're proud of the collaborative efforts that have brought us this far."

City Manager Jennifer Hoffman added, "The Year in Review encapsulates our collective endeavors toward fostering a safe, inclusive and resilient community. From enhancing mobility and addressing environmental concerns to prioritizing organizational health, our commitment to progress remains steadfast."

Throughout 2023, Broomfield achieved significant milestones, including: securing an elevated bond rating, advancing development projects such as the Flatiron Redevelopment and Broomfield Town Square and promoting sustainability through reduced carbon footprints and robust water conservation initiatives.
