An important online survey regarding a proposed sales and use tax increase that will be used to fund the construction, improvement, and operations of city and county buildings will be launched by the City and County of Broomfield on May 8. The online survey will begin on Monday, May 8 and close on Monday, May 22.
There are several ways for Broomfield voters to participate in the survey:
- Visit the City and County of Broomfield home page at broomfield.org and click on the Sales and Use Tax Ballot Measure Survey button. This link will be available in the afternoon of Monday, May 8.
- Some Broomfield voters will receive a text message on their mobile device on Monday, May 8 inviting them to participate in the survey (the text will include the City and County of Broomfield logo).
- The link to the survey will be included in Broomfield communications like the Community Update newsletter, on the City and County of Broomfield social media platforms and on the digital signage at some City and County buildings in Broomfield.
The results of this survey will be used to make the ballot language as clear as possible, identify information that needs to be educated to voters and help council make informed decisions on the next steps for this ballot measure. Your answers are completely anonymous and confidential and the survey will take just 12 minutes to complete. If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Julie Story in the Broomfield Communications and Engagement Department at 303-438-6354 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
