In support of efforts to build capacity and foster a workplace environment that encourages authentic inclusion, the City and County of Broomfield's department of Diversity, Equity and Organizational Development has partnered with Denver Metro based artist and cultural capacity strategist Chloé Duplessis to offer the Capacity through Creativity program.

The innovative program is the first of its kind, and utilizes art, history and team-building techniques to mindfully address equity, inclusion and accessibility challenges. Nearly 175 employees participated in the program that began on March 29 and wrapped on May 4.

The art created during the program will be featured in a city-wide art exhibition at the Broomfield Library through June 24, and then at the Georgie Diciero City and County Building through the end of the exhibit. It includes over 100 original works of art created by employees. The exhibition is free, open to the public and runs through July 17, 2022.
