[ARCHIVED] Quarantine Reminder

Remember to quarantine after you’ve been exposed to someone with COVID-19, even if you do not show symptoms.

Remember to quarantine after you’ve been exposed to someone with COVID-19, even if you do not show symptoms.

All residents, including children and teenagers, should observe quarentince guidance and not go to work, school, sporting events or extracurricular activities and generally avoid contact with others while quarantining. A quarter of Broomfield’s COVID-19 cases in March have been associated with 10-19-year olds.

A 14-day quarantine is the safest option, and what is recommended for those who have regular close contact with high risk individuals, including those who live or work in congregate living facilities. It also applies for people who had close contact with someone infected with a COVID-19 variant. A 10-day quarantine is appropriate for most people who do not have contact with high risk individuals.
