While state and local COVID-19 cases are trending in the right direction, spending Spring Break at home is still the safest option.
While state and local COVID-19 cases are trending in the right direction, spending Spring Break at home is still the safest option. Unnecessary travel is not recommended.
Residents who do plan to travel should minimize the risk and practice safe measures.
Some tips include:
- If possible, plan activities that reduce the risk of spreading the virus - hiking or other outdoor activities are preferable to indoor activities;
- Consider wearing two masks if traveling by plane or in other indoor settings;
- Remember that in Colorado, personal gatherings are still restricted to 10 people or less from no more than two households
- Check for local public health recommendations/orders before the trip and make sure to comply.
