Following is an update on the status of COGCC efforts to repair the Davis 43-6 plugged and abandoned well in Anthem Highlands.
The public notice linked here, is an update on the status of COGCC efforts to repair the Davis 43-6 plugged and abandoned well in Anthem Highlands. You will recall that this plugged and abandoned well was accepted into COGCC's orphaned well program after the Broomfield soil/gas testing program reported higher subsurface methane reading in the area of the well. The COGCC has currently drilled down 1,180 feet and it is estimated that the bottom of the well is around 2,500. Once the bottom of the well is identified the COGCC will begin the recementing process. A picture of the well site is also included in the public notice.
