On September 30, 2019, Broomfield staff and representatives from the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, and the North Metro Fire and Rescue District conducted a community meeting concerning subsurface methane readings discovered as a result of Broomfield's Soil and Gas Testing Program in the area of the Davis 43-6 plugged and abandoned well.
