[ARCHIVED] Update on Livingston Well Pad Activities and Sheridan Parkway Heave

Extraction intends to start of surface rig mobilization to the Livingston Pad, Saturday June 1.

Extraction intends to  start of surface rig mobilization to the Livingston Pad, Saturday June 1, with a start of spudding activities Monday, June 3, 2019, in the afternoon. All transportation plan requirements will be followed. The surface rig will not be visible at the Livingston Pad until Monday afternoon.  If spudding is still active on June 16,  surface rig support traffic not previously cleared to access via the Lowell Blvd egress will shut down. No rig traffic will interfere with the Sheridan repair. Broomfield's Construction Supervisor and Traffic Engineer will follow this process closely.  The public notice for the drilling can be viewed here.

Extraction has contracted for repair of the Sheridan Parkway Heave.  Heave repair will begin on  Monday June 17, 2019, and it is anticipated that it will be completed by June 28, 2019. The public notice for this work can be viewed here.  Extraction will be following the traffic plans approved by the Broomfield's Traffic Engineer  for this process, which will include the following conditions:

Because of the impacts to repair Sheridan Parkway, no traffic will be allowed access to the Livingston site off of Sheridan Parkway

  • There will be no class 7 and above vehicles allowed to enter the Livingston site, during the heave repair.
  • Access to the Livingston site will be allowed to class 6 and below vehicles at the Lowell Boulevard access.  Access will be limited to a right-in-right-out only at this location.
  • No left turns will be on Lowell Boulevard in or out of the Livingston site.
  • All vehicles accessing the Livingston site will not be allowed during the peak hours of 7-9 am and 3-6 pm

To ensure the safety of emergency response teams, construction workers and the general public, Broomfield reserves the right to modify or direct changes to traffic patterns and traffic control device.
