Boards and Commissions

Make a difference in your community — apply to serve on a board or commission with the City and County of Broomfield!

Serving the community as a member of one of Broomfield's Boards and Commissions is a great way to get involved in the community, and share your voice with staff and Council on future decisions. Please note that you must be 14 years of age or older, and a Broomfield resident to apply.

Submit an application for the following vacancies by 5 p.m. January 24, 2021:

If you are interested in applying for more than one board and commission, please select all of the boards and commissions you want to be considered for in the application; no additional or separate application is necessary.

Historically Council interviews applicants. Due to COVID-19 and for the safety of everyone, interviews will be recorded via Spark Hire and shared with City Council. City and County staff will follow-up with information on how to complete this process as well as provide assistance and alternative options if needed.

City Council will be considering a potential change to the Planning and Zoning Commission in 2021. Therefore the Clerk's Office is not including the Planning and Zoning Commission in the general recruitment process. More information to follow pending Council action.

If you have questions about the application or need assistance, please contact the City Clerk at cityclerk@broomfield.org or 303.438.6332. Thanks!
