Anthem Reuse Mainlines at Preble Creek Pkwy and Indian Peaks Pkwy

Anthem Reuse 10-2020

News & Updates...............

The project will connect existing dead end reuse mainlines on Indian Peaks Parkway and Preble Creek Parkway. The dead ends in the distribution system create problems such as dirty water, one-way feeds, low pressure and low flows.  Looping the reuse system eliminates dead ends and provides the necessary flow and pressure required for irrigation during high demand periods.

This project is anticipated to begin at the end of November 2020.

Background Information

The dead ends in the distribution system create problems such as dirty water, one-way feeds, low pressure and low flows, and the need for frequent system flushing. Looping the reuse system eliminates dead ends and provides the necessary flow and pressure required for irrigation during high demand periods.

Muller Engineering Company, Inc. has completed the project design.

An invitation to bid was issued to Broomfield’s 2018 Utility Prequalification Shortlist, which is valid for four years, on August 17, 2020. Six bids were received by the September 10, 2020 deadline.
