COVID-19 Data for Broomfield

The following charts summarize key data points related to the COVID-19 virus in Broomfield. The data is interactive - hover over a bar or line for data points for specific information.  Data for these charts is compiled from a variety of sources and will be updated daily by 6 p.m. as data are available.

To ensure rapid response to new cases, Broomfield staff monitors the reporting systems throughout the day, so occasionally Broomfield numbers may differ from CDPHE. Data points for counties is sourced through the state and can be found here.

New Cases in Broomfield Residents by Date

This chart displays the number of cases based on the date that they were reported. Cases are categorized as being associated with a long-term care facility (LTCF) or not. Determining if the person was part of a LTCF takes additional case investigation work and data may be slightly delayed.

Note that staff tested as part of their work at an LTCF will be assigned to their county of residence if positive.

Persons may move to a ’hospitalized’ status after this initial case investigation and not be reported back to Broomfield Public Health.
