Sheridan & Midway Intersection Improvements

Background Information

The project will alleviate traffic congestion during the peak volume hours. The proposed improvements include the addition of an eastbound bike lane on E. Midway Blvd, the addition of a southbound right-turn lane on Sheridan Blvd, the addition of a westbound left-turn lane on E. Midway Blvd as well as converting the existing westbound left-turn lane on E. Midway Blvd into a through-lane and extending the storage length of the eastbound E. Midway Blvd left-turn lane.  The project also includes the extension of an eight-inch waterline to improve water pressure issues in the area.  City Council approved a construction agreement with GoodLand Construction on October 8, 2019.
