Currently, patrons receive a 3-day courtesy email for items that are coming due. Items can then be renewed 2 times barring holds and lucky days.
Beginning on February 3rd, the library will begin using auto-renewals. This means that most items checked out to patron library cards will auto-renew when they receive the 3-day courtesy notice. The new due date will be based on their original due date. The courtesy notice will also indicate whether or not their item has been renewed.
This process is currently in soft launch and information will be widely available on March 1.
