Leaf and Pumpkin Disposal 2018
Broomfield residents can drop off their fallen leaves and discarded pumpkins at the Tree Limb Recycling Drop-off, 225 Commerce St., beginning Saturday, October 17, through Saturday, Dec. 1. Please note that these items will only be accepted during the hours that the drop-off is open (see below).
Hours of Operation (closed at all other times):
Wednesdays, 1 to 5 p.m.
Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Note: The site will be closed on Saturday, November 24, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Pumpkins:Please place your discarded pumpkins in the roll-off box on the west side of the branch pile. These will be composted. Please—no plastic bags, branches, or other yard debris with the pumpkins.
Leaves:Please place loose leaves - NO plastic bags - on the tree limb pile with the branches. The mixed leaves and branches will be sent to a commercial facility to be composted. Please do not contaminate the pile with plastic bags.
Attendant will be on duty, and proof of residency is required.
Please do not push your leaves into the gutter or street. The debris flushes into the stormwater system and can plug storm drains and degrade the quality of ponds downstream.
The site may close if extremely wet conditions exist. If questionable, call 303.438.6334, Monday through Friday. For additional information, please contact:
