Online Bill Payment System

VIEW/PAY YOUR UTILITY BILL SECURELY ONLINE OR BY PHONE

The City and County of Broomfield’s water/sewer bill payment system is available through a partnership with Paymentus, an independent company that provides a free, self-service application for Broomfield’s utility customers.  This service allows you to review your account details online or by automated telephone, with no additional fees.

ONLINE BILLING/PAYMENT OPTIONS

 (***No need to set up an online account.***) 

You will need a current statement for your customer account number, as well as the information for your method of payment:

  • Credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover)
     OR
  • Bank account information (routing/transit # and checking account #)

Upon successfully completing a payment, you will be given a confirmation number for your records.

(***You must have your customer account number in order to initially set up an online account.***)

Establish a username and password, add your specific account(s), and then you will gain access to a variety of features:

  • Electronic/Paperless billing (under Accounts > Paperless)
  • View your account balance
  • Make one-time payments (under Pay My Bill or Accounts > Pay Bill)
  • Schedule recurring payments (under Auto Pay)
  • Update your recurring payment details (under My Wallet)
  • Review past statements (under Bill History)
  • Track your usage history (under Bill History > View Bill > Usage Report)

 HOW TO SET UP AN ONLINE ACCOUNT

  1. Have a current statement available for your utility account number.
  2. Navigate to the Customer Portal.
  3. Under the Login section, select the Register Now link.
  4. Complete the required fields.
  5. Select the Enroll button.   
  6. Enter your utility account number.
  7. Choose whether or not to enable electronic/paperless billing. 
  8. Choose whether or not to receive e-mail notifications when new bills are available.
  9. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  10. Select the Add Account button.

You’re all set!

You can now perform a number of functions using the menu options along the left of the Customer Portal screen.

AUTOMATED TELEPHONE

To pay by automated phone, dial 1.855.442.6900.
