Federal WIOA Funding

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) was designed to meet the needs of both a job seeker trying to further their career and for employers looking for qualified applicants for their jobs. Federal WIOA funds are allocated to local Workforce Regions to design programs and services that best meet the needs of the local labor market.

The goal of WIOA is to help you acquire marketable skills that will lead to gainful employment. WIOA can assist in paying up to $3,000 for short-term training of one year or less.
