Whether you rent or own your home, the Home Energy Squad® program through Xcel Energy is the perfect way to begin your journey toward lower energy bills and a more comfortable, more efficient home.

Services Include

• Thorough inspection of home exterior, insulation, and mechanical systems
• Air leak analysis with a Blower-Door diagnostic test
• Infrared imaging and analysis
• Combustion safety test
• Carbon monoxide check
• Full summary report with findings and recommendations

The equipment includes:

• Switching out traditional, incandescent light bulbs for LEDs
• Installing a programmable or smart thermostat
• Weather-stripping a drafty, wooden, exterior door
• Replacing showerheads with energy-efficient models
• Adding aerators to your kitchen and bathroom faucets

Income-Qualified Energy Assistance Available

If you are an income-qualified household, you may be eligible for no-cost or deeply discounted home energy services through Xcel Energy’s Income-Qualified Programs, administered by CLEAResult. These programs can include energy assessments, efficiency upgrades, and other support designed to help reduce energy bills and improve home comfort.
